Small dragons have a way of making enormous feelings impossible to ignore. One brave step, one spectacularly bad decision, one friend who stays when things get complicated: in Tiny Scales, the little moments have room to become adventures.
Tiny Scales now has a home of its own in Captured Tales. The connected story world brings our expressive small dragons together across distinct corners of a larger fantasy setting. You can wander from gentle mischief to courage, belonging, guardian bonds and consequences considerably bigger than the paws that caused them.
Small dragons, a bigger world
The world began with the artwork: bright eyes, tactile scales, little wings and faces that can give away an entire plot before a single word is read. Their stories were originally created at different times. We have since reviewed and connected the tales that belong together, giving the dragons a shared place to explore while allowing each story to keep its own character.
That connection does not mean every dragon lives in the same village or that every tale is the next chapter of one long plot. Tiny Scales has different places and moods. Some stories are light and affectionate; others ask a little more of their characters. Each tale keeps its own setting, stakes and sense of discovery.
Find the kind of adventure you want
Start with a face that catches your eye, a title that makes you curious or a mood that suits the day. Individual stories carry audience guidance, so you can distinguish gentler adventures from tales with grown-up humor or darker turns. You do not need to read in a particular order to meet the world.
If you have seen our Tiny Scales & Tails artwork collection before, this is the storytelling side of that creative family: Tiny Scales is the Captured Tales world. The artwork collection and the story world have different purposes, and their memberships are not assumed to match one for one.
Come meet the little dragons
There is courage here, and vanity, and curiosity with extremely poor impulse control. There are creatures trying to understand how much they can change their corner of the world without losing the people who make it feel like home. There are also a few situations that might have improved if someone had paused to ask, “Should I touch that?”
Explore the Tiny Scales stories and find the small dragon whose adventure speaks to you first.
