Auspicious Reflections
A bare tree and its watery twin form the center of this warm-toned Broemmelsiek artwork, while birds add a light touch of movement overhead.
Bill and Linda Tiepelman ·

Branches above, branches below
The main tree rises near the center, its branching structure repeated in the lake. A large bird shape crosses the upper left, and a distant flock appears to the right. Against the soft sky, these small dark forms break up the symmetry without overwhelming it.
The shoreline acts almost like a fold in a sheet of paper. Above it, the branches remain crisp; below it, the water pulls them into a gentler pattern. Warm gold shifts toward pale blue across the background, giving the scene an expressive, painterly atmosphere. The visible birds are part of the artwork; this page does not identify their species or present them as a documented wildlife observation. The image’s title invites interpretation without requiring a literal prediction of good fortune.
