Broemmelsiek Park - Spring Reflections
Fresh green trees and a long blue reflection make spring at Broemmelsiek feel spacious, bright, and pleasingly balanced.

The season returns in green
The tree line follows a gently curving bank, and the lake repeats nearly the entire row. Above it, fine pale streaks cross a wide blue sky. The open areas give the foliage room to stand out, while the slight curve of the shoreline supplies depth to a composition built mostly from horizontal bands.
Look at the tree trunks and the small gaps between crowns. They are the details that keep the reflection readable as a landscape rather than a single green mass. This view makes an especially useful companion to IR Reflections, whose related shoreline forms are presented in an entirely different palette. Here the archive identifies spring, and the familiar greens let the pleasure come from shape, space, and repetition.
