Busch Spring Filling In
Busch Spring Filling In catches the shoreline between seasons, with fine bare branches, fresh green edges, and bright clouds above blue water.

Spring arrives a little at a time
The trees have not yet become a solid wall of leaves. Their delicate branching remains visible against the sky, while richer greens gather near the left bank. The lake holds both the dark trunks and the pale clouds in a lightly rippled reflection.
This is the appeal of an in-between landscape: growth changes the scene without concealing its structure. The low shoreline leaves plenty of space for the sky, and the small warm-colored shrubs near the center keep the blue from becoming cold.
The place behind the image
Busch combines wooded areas with lakes and open habitats. MDC's Busch area guide provides the location context; check the official visitor information for current access and conditions.
