Busch Wildlife Swampy Autumn - 2
Busch Wildlife Swampy Autumn - 2 combines a yellow-green water surface, tangled shoreline growth, and a bright cloud-filled sky.

A bright pocket of autumn
A leafy tree at left and thin branches at right frame a small open stretch of water. Its surface looks almost solid with green growth, but the woody stems and shoreline edges reveal a wetland scene rather than a grassy clearing.
The archive identifies the setting as Hampton Memorial Lake. Here, the lighter sky and broad yellow foreground distinguish this version from the companion Swampy Autumn image. The appeal lies in that unexpected palette: autumn does not always arrive as a wall of red leaves.
The place behind the image
Wetlands contribute to the area's variety of bird habitat. MDC's Busch area guide provides the location context; check the official visitor information for current access and conditions.
