The field gets the whole sky
The foreground is a dense weave of dry stems, full of small directional lines. Far away, a compact group of trees interrupts the horizon. Above it, cream-colored clouds open into blue-green space, making the field feel even broader.
The picture works by changing scale: you can examine individual strands near your feet, then jump to the tiny trees and the huge sky. Its warm color treatment gives the dry vegetation a glow without needing a lake reflection to carry the light.
